Since 2018
History of Sierra Forestry
Sierra Forestry was founded in 2018 by a group of long-time friends with a combined total of 40 years of experience in the forest conservation industry.
We are based out of the mountain community of Oakhurst, California, with a reach expanding from Southern California to Oregon, and our goal is to continue expanding east.
At Sierra Forestry, we think outside the box to create unique solutions for real problems your organization faces. We’ve grown to employ a variety of professionals including certified arborists; foresters; operations, safety, and project managers; compliance specialists; and system specialists. With expertise in utility, fire, conservation, stewardship, and private land leadership, we create and execute custom solutions with our partners to seamlessly meet your goals.
“We are the solution” became our motto because of our organization’s drive to break down barriers and find the solution for difficult tasks. We don’t give up in the face of adversity and have tackled both small, simple projects and large, highly technical projects. We are proud of our record of service and would be honored to serve you.

We are a licensed timber operator (LTO) and certified arborist by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA).
